How do I get those clients to act on my email marketing campaign?
Question 3. Getting clients to act on your emails.
Answer: So, your email has jumped hurdle 1: getting delivered, and hurdle 2: getting read. But it’s been 3 months since then and you haven’t received a drop of response.
Why not? There could be multiple reasons.
1.) Take a look at your call to action. Does it jump out, rivet attention, demand action? If not, then rethink and rework it until it commands the attention of your customer.
2.) Deadlines. Give a call-in deadline for that snazzy free product or upgrade you’re offering. For example, “Order by the 18 th and receive a FREE …….” (fill in the blank)
This method creates incentive within your customer. Nothing attracts new customers like free gifts and if you really want to heighten the frenzy of the piranha, offer the gift to the first 100 or 1000 people who respond.
Your phone won’t stop ringing.
3.) Assure people that your risk free. Offer a “Risk Free” trial of your services. Let new customers know that they can back out before the trial period expires.
4.) Make clear that your offer can’t be store-bought. This will assure new clients that they can only purchase your product from you instead of visiting the local store.
5.) Upgrades. Offer them. Customers will love you for them. You will love you for them.
Example- “Order within the next five days and we will upgrade you to our super, mega, deluxe model.”
6.) Free Supplies, Free Accessories. Throw in this package and watch your product shelves empty.
